You can now update Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 with the latest XXDMG6 Android 4.2.2 official firmware update which brings the newer Jelly Bean (not the latest one) to this tablet. This software update is also available via Samsung KIES or an OTA update, but if you haven’t received it yet, you can follow our tutorial and install it on your device manually.

You can now root XXDMG6 Android 4.2.2 official firmware for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 that was released a few days back. We have an entire tutorial below on how to make this root work method work on the latest Jelly Bean software update. Rooting an Android device voids your warranty, but many of you are fine with taking that risk because of the advantages offered by root apps and other mods.
